All Are Welcome Here
Welcome to the web site for the Austin Central Texas chapter of Lutherans Concerned/North America. May your life be richly blessed by the information and support you will find in these pages. To obtain more information and answer your basic questions about LC/NA and the Reconciling in Christ programs - please directly consult their website at www.lcna.org.
LC/ACT gathers for worship, fellowship, provides service and participates as a group in various events and activities in our area. Our occasional business meetings during 2007 will be held as announced on 4th Thursdays in the Upper Room at Shepherd of the Hills, 3525 Bee Caves Road, Austin, Texas 78746. Business meeting as well as event information notices are shared via email to members and others who have indicated they are interested in attending or participating. Please contact us to request inclusion in such announcements or if you have an event or group information you would like to share.
Our chapter primarily works to fund raise, develop, and support various events related to advancing the Mission of LC/NA and the Reconciling in Christ program in the Central Texas region. We currently have plans to present both informational events and special interfaith worship services in the Austin/Central Texas area. We also work to support various Synod wide efforts and occasionally national projects affiliated with LC/NA. If you are interested in attending our next meeting or any other function, please consult our calendar of events for dates and addresses.
Membership in LC/NA is not required to attend ACT meetings, but it is strongly encouraged. Membership fees are shared between local chapters and the national LC/NA organization.
We welcome your interest in the Austin-Central Texas chapter of LC/NA. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We ask you to join our ongoing prayer that the power of living out the Gospel by loving our fellow human beings and promoting justice for all, will sustain our hope and strengthen our hearts as we work together, growing in faith and understanding of God's grace.
